Final Thriller Opening Sequence Synopsis

First we see a close up of a pair of army boots. This is the first appearance of enigma because we don't know who's wearing the boots. Slowly, the character whom is wearing the boots is revealed. He starts to walk forward and slowly pulls down his hood. We see that he is wearing a mask, covering his face. The shots flicker to show how he looks normally. We see that he is a normal teenage boy but we know that something isn't right with him because of the unusual disguise. We see him pull out a weapon but we don't know why he has it. The next scene is indoors. We don't know where it is but it's dark and mysterious. We see someone lighting candles, this is an enigma because we aren't sure who is lighting them and why they are lighting them. The next shot is of someone in the corner of the room, sat rocking backwards and forwards as if they are distressed or scared. We don't know who this person is. Next, we see the boy looking in the mirror at himself. He looks normal but we see flickers of his mask. We see his hand covered in blood. He lifts it to his face and smears the blood slowly down his cheek. He hears people shouting behind him so he slowly turns around. Lasers are being pointed on his chest. We realise that he has guns pointed at him, turning to face the camera and grinning, the only word he says is 'bang'

Final Thriller Film Synopsis

At the very start of the film the main character is killed by the guns which are pointed on his at the end of the opening. However the audience is convinced that he actually survives as he continues to play as the protagonist throughout the rest of the film. A female character later introduced into the story line falls in love with him and eventually discovers that he is in fact dead. Through the film the female character is oblivious to the fact that the love of her life is killing everyone she loves, and killing everyone she has ever cared about. At the very end of the time it is revealed that she is also in fact dead and was indeed killed by her love early in the film, although her body was hidden from sight.

Creating a Production Company Logo

Whilst given the task to create a logo I started to firstly started to bounce a few ides around in Photoshop and decided that I wanted to create a rather unique logo. Starting with the basic idea that I wanted some type of symbol and then a unique name, I started to sketch out the one you see above, and from using basic lines. I thought it would have a better effect if I made the simplistic lines into a bone type shape and therefore this is the result.
Wanting to get a background I decided that would drop red ink into a fish tank and then record the effect it.

After recording the ink dropping I placed the file with the ink droplets along with drawn logo and put both of the on top of each other. After doing such I added a fade in and fade out effect at the start and end of the logo so that it would look much better.

This is the final product.
The quality is bad due to the fact Final Cut Pro wouldn't work properly.

Identified Target Audience

Within our group we made it a priority to make sure that we had an age range. This was so that we could create our final piece to be appropriate for the specific age range. After surveying a range of audiences which contained a variety of age ranges we came to the conclusion that the preferred age range would be from 15-25.
Keeping this factor in mind we will be creating a thriller opening to match the audiences and age ranges needs. This will be evaluated upon later on, after we finish our thriller opening.

Creating A Protagonist

Kroven Grey Asesinato.
26 Years (-|-) 6'6 Feet Height (-|-) Male (-|-) Werewolf

Short Biography
There is one initial rule, and only one that applies to every creature that comes into contact with Kroven. If you mistake his deceitful nature as kindness, you will end up dead.
A demonic, cunning, muscular machine of pure screwed up intelligence is the core of what Kroven is. Covered in scars, crimson orbs, and maroon hair, this deadly male is definitely not someone to just 'mess' with. With a smirk plastered on his jaws, and blood lust fixated in his eyes, it is almost impossible to read his moods, but one thing is a given. Above everything else, if in any way, you harm someone he has come to love or care for, you shall be the next creature hanging by their hind legs, from a tree, in the darkness as the blood is drained from your body.

Clothing
Kroven clothing wouldn't be classed as smart but more of casual feel. During scenes he'd be seen wearing a pair of black jeans, black boots, and no shirt, which would then allow the audience to see the multiple wounds over his chest, left arm, and back. These scars would be linked to past trauma, from family problems to fighting for dominance. The limited clothing would play a huge part in the personality of the character, but also his slight hidden sensitive side.

Lighting
There are many different ways in which lighting could convey the character of Kroven which would reflect his personality. To match his personality the lighting whenever Kroven' is present would be dark, or any light would be dimmed, so that the idea that he is a "Bad" character would continue.

Camera
Different camera actions would be used when representing Kroven. As for visual hierarchy Kroven would automatically stand taller than everyone else in shot or in the scene. Due to his size, being 6'6 he would automatically be taller than everyone else in the scene with whatever subject or activity he was doing.

Sound
There would be a specific type of Non-diegetic sound which would be playing in the background whilst Kroven was present or in the scene. The type of music which would be played would be more towards an scary, creepy noise, almost giving the effect that it wasn't a piece of music at all, or even a song. Here is an example of the type of the non-diegetic sound which would play with the presence of Kroven. The volume of this sound would be rather quiet and always in the background of every situation that Kroven was in, or it may be loudened if there was an emphasis on the moment.

There would also be diegetic sound during some parts of Krovens appearance, which could be shown by him singing it, for example this is Krovens theme song but it would also be a piece of music which he could be shown singing. For this the volume would be a lot louder so that the audience could hear and see what was happening.

As for Kroven's accent, he has a very prominent accent which has a Spanish tint to it. Kroven's mother was Hispanic, and this is where he had gained his slight Spanish accent.

Location & Setting
The general location where the whole movie / Tv Drama would be based would be in a dense forest either in Scotland or in Canada, therefore the terrain would be a resemblance of where a wolf pack would live. This being linked to the fact that Kroven is a werewolf / human-wolf shifter and so is his pack and rivalled pack.

The actual place where "most" of the action would be happening is a century old abandoned mansion like castle which was found by Kroven and then adopt by himself, and brought back to life, so that it was in fact inhabitable. The set design for this would be set inside the mansion and although it would be placed in every room it would be mostly based inside the top floor bedrooms, grand hall, kitchen, dungeons, forests, village, and the abandoned forgotten parts of the mansion which only Kroven knows about.

This setting would be based deep within the forest of Canada / Scotland and would be done so that the mansion would be on top of a hill, and would over look the village.

This setting, props and design of the inside of the mansion would be more-or-less how Krovens mansion would be set out, and the idea that it was abandoned would fit perfectly.
