Making A Title

I'd decided to create a title for a thriller to which I called " Onyx Chain "

Firstly I started by adding a text box to my piece of work, and I did this by clicked an icon at the bottom of an 'A' and from this a drop down menu appeared, to which I clicked Text.
Adding 'Onyx Chain' to this box which I'd selected I changed the font so that instead of the default font which came up to start of with there would be a little bit more variety in my work.
Once I'd done this the text was dragged form the viewing box and onto the timeline.

After I'd done this I selected and imported a film which was titled 'Damaged Film'. I put this layer above my text layer once on the timeline so that it would give a burning texture to my text once the clip was rendered and played. I also decided to  add some effects to my text. I did this by going to Effects, Video Filters, Glow then Bloom. Not only was this added but I added a 'Bad Film' effect and 'Vignette'.
Once this had been done I also added another layer of this, but this time it would be underneath my original 'Onyx Chain' type, and although it did say the same thing (Onyx Chain) I made it so that the opacity of the layer was slightly lower than the one above it, and also that all the letters were placed over each other, in a large blob. This effect actually worked rather well because it ended up looking like a symbol at the bottom of my screen.
After this was done I rendered my clip and then uploaded it to Youtube.

This was my final product.
